Howdy!
Now that the 2010 IDOS WCCO is over (recipes books are available...), it's time to start focusing on the Spring Convention. There are only 17 days left before the event. It's on Saturday, 10 April 2010, at the Davis County Fairgrounds in Farmington, UT.
Of course, there is a topic in the IDOS forums with details, maps, etc:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=336Debbie Hair is the chair for this event.
Randy Brown is over classes. He might already have all he needs, but if you are interested, contact him.
Colleen Sloan is over vendors. If you, or anyone you know, has any interest in being a vendor for this event, contact Colleen. I think Vendor booths are still $50 per 10 X 10 area, or a donation of $100 retail to the youth cook-off or auction.
Dian Mayfield is over the Taste of Dutch. If you would like to volunteer for the Taste of Dutch, get in touch with Dian. Cooks will either get a year membership or $30 towards the auction at noon. I'm helping schedule cooks for this event if you want to contact me.
Terry Lewis in over the Youth Cook-Off. If you have any kids, or know of any kids, that might be interested in competing, contact Terry Lewis. Prizes for these teams are welcomed.
I (Ranes Carter) should be able to answer most any question, or I can forward your questions to those that can answer them.
I won't be able to make it Friday night to help set up or for the DOG event. Last year, many of us sat around a portable fire pit after the DOG and had a great time!
Me and my boys will be making Biscuits and Gravy and Mountain Man Breakfast before the event starts for those setting up.
We'll see you there!
